چکیده

Abstract The increasing demands for reducing fuel consumption and emissions in contemporary technology solutions lead to the use of more sensors, actuators, control applications. With this engine complexity, feedback design is complex due coupling between inputs combustion parameters. To be able controller systematically, model predictive (MPC) comes scope because its advantages multi-input multi-output (MIMO) systems, especially with constraints handling ability performance simultaneously optimizing efficiency emission reduction. Multi-injection one promising techniques achieving better performance. In work, post-injection implemented utilizing MPC MIMO strategy target exploring possibility improving by controlling duration injection timing. workflow from control-oriented (COM) establishing problem formation solution methodology discussed work. Moreover, contribution work different implementation angle when compared state-of-the-art approaches, where purely Matlab Simulink enable rapid prototyping design. simulation result demonstrated controller’s tracking showed a preliminary step towards nonlinear model-based multi-injection systematic framework developed can applied other applications enables fast path test.

Semi-physical mean-value NOx model for diesel engine control

In this paper, a new physics-based model for the prediction of NOx emissions produced by diesel engines is presented. The aim of this work is to provide a Mean-Value Model (MVM) adapted for control design and online estimation. The proposed approach is based on the simplification of a zero-dimensional thermodynamic model. Only the main phenomena taking part in NOx formation are kept and they ar...

A dynamic PCCI combustion model for Diesel engine control design

Subject of this work is a dynamic simulation model for PCCI combustion that can be used in closed-loop control development. A detailed multi-zone chemistry model for the high-pressure part of the engine cycle is extended by a mean value model accounting for the gas exchange losses. The resulting model is capable of describing PCCI combustion with stationary exactness. It is at the same time ver...
